Hey, I’m Aimie.
I’ve been behind a camera for over 20 years, and somewhere along the way I realized I’m endlessly fascinated by two things: the beauty of the natural world and the beautifully imperfect people in it.
I’m fueled by coffee, dramatic skies, and the unwavering belief that golden hour is always worth the wait. If we’re out on a session together, don’t be surprised if I ask you to walk “just a little farther” because I spotted better light, or if I suddenly stop mid-conversation to admire a sunset. I can’t help it, nature has a way of stealing my attention, and thankfully, it also makes for incredible photographs.
Landscape photography has always been my first love. Chasing sunrises, waiting for the perfect sunset, wandering mountain trails, standing in the middle of the desert under a sky full of stars—those moments remind me why I picked up a camera in the first place. They taught me to slow down, notice the little things, and appreciate beauty that can’t be rushed.
That same approach carries into every portrait session. I don’t believe the best photos come from perfectly rehearsed poses. They come from genuine laughter, quiet moments, windblown hair, unexpected hugs, and the split second when you forget the camera is even there. My goal isn’t to create perfect pictures, it’s to create photographs that feel like you.
Whether you’re celebrating a milestone, gathering your favorite people, or simply wanting to preserve this season of life, I want your session to feel less like a photoshoot and more like an adventure. We’ll laugh, explore, probably get a little dirt on our shoes, and leave with more than beautiful images—we’ll leave with memories worth keeping.
Because years from now, I don’t just want you to remember what you looked like.
I want you to remember exactly how it felt.
